Scientists ensure us that most people die because
of heart diseases. But more than 50% of people die in car
accidents. Yes, we talk a lot about the danger of AIDS, tuberculosis
and diabetes. But what can you say about the danger which really
depends on us, but still we do nothing with it?
As a rule, most of us are really indignant at a drunk person
who is driving. But still not everyone realizes that a person who
doesn't follow the elementary rules of mobile phones
etiquette
is also a criminal. Is it ridiculous? Well, what can be more important
than a business talk or just chat with a close friend? Thus, the
government of some countries start to find the legal opportunities in
order to bring an action against the people who
violate the
mobile phones etiquette.
Some countries approved the using of so called hands-free mobile
phones. Among them are the USA and Israel. Such countries as Greece and
Japan prohibit to use any type of mobile phones while driving. It is
considered that the most part of accidents happen just because people
look aside from the situation on the road while talking over mobile
phones. And it doesn't matter whether they use hands-free or usual
mobile phones.
But what should you do if you really are waiting for very important
call? Just pull over to the side of the road where possible to answer a
call. And of course, let's take into consideration the pedestrians who
are also the participants of street traffic. For example, in Croatia it
is prohibited to use mobile phones when you cross the road. So,
probably, we also need to follow such simple rules.
It is also forbidden to use mobile phones in aircrafts, because it may
interference with aircraft radio communications. Though such statements
are false. So, we need just to accept that it is prohibited.
The other thing is that some countries also use special signal-jamming
equipment in order to prevent the using of mobile phones in such public
places as churches, libraries, cinemas, meeting rooms and many more.
But still such an equipment is out law in the USA and even advertising
and selling of such cell phone jammer may lead to criminal prosecution.
